Bob’s Well Bread Bakery: A place we have visited more times than we can count! Here you’ll find fresh bread, pastries and some of the best brunch food you’ve ever tasted!Mortensen’s Danish Bakery: You can’t leave Solvang without a pastry. This is a local staple—get the Kringle or a classic Bear Claw.The Solvang Bakery: If you want that iconic "gingerbread house" photo op and a delicious Danish butter cookie, this is your spot.
Best Lunch & Sandwiches
Peasants DELI: This is the place for a "picnic-ready" lunch. Their pastrami is legendary (a two-week process!), and their sandwiches are perfect if you're planning to grab food and head to a nearby park or winery.Copenhagen Sausage Garden: An outdoor beer garden vibe with artisan sausages and salumi. It’s casual, fun, and great for a group.
Afternoon Sips
Alma Rosa Winery: A beautiful tasting room right on Mission Drive. They specialize in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Santa Rita Hills.Lucas & Lewellen: Consistently voted one of the best tasting rooms in the valley. It’s right in the heart of the village.
